These terms apply to your use of www.eastgrandrapidspainters.com and to the text message service operated by East Grand Rapids Painters. Using the site or opting in to messages means you accept them.
Everything published on this site is general guidance about house painting and the services we offer. Price ranges and timelines are estimates drawn from typical jobs, not offers capable of acceptance. Nothing here creates a contract until we have seen your property and agreed the work with you in writing.
We walk through the job before quoting, and we go through what we found with you before any work starts. Nothing proceeds without your approval. If something unexpected turns up once work is underway, such as rot or damage hidden under old paint, we stop and call rather than continuing and adding it to the bill. Invoices fall due on completion unless agreed otherwise in writing.
Older homes sometimes hide problems under paint: rotted trim, failed caulk joints, or siding damage that is not visible until prep work exposes it. Where we can foresee such risks we will tell you before starting. Where they only become apparent during the work, we stop and discuss the revised scope with you rather than proceeding on assumption.
Exterior painting depends on weather and surface temperature. We may reschedule exterior work for rain, high humidity or temperatures outside the coating manufacturer's application range. This protects the finish, not our convenience, and we will tell you as soon as we know a date needs to move.
East Grand Rapids Painters sends text messages relating to scheduling, arrival windows, quotes and follow-up for customers who contact us about work at www.eastgrandrapidspainters.com, and receives service messages such as invoices and verification codes from providers we use.
If you opt in, we may send a message confirming your signup. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies.
Cancel any time by replying STOP to any message from us. We will send one confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, after which you will receive no further messages. To resume later, sign up the same way you did originally.

Completed work is covered by the warranty stated on your invoice, applying to the labor and materials itemised there. It does not extend to unrelated surfaces, pre-existing conditions uncovered during the job, damage from improper maintenance after completion, or work performed by others. If something we painted is not right, tell us and we will come back to it.
So far as the law permits, our liability for any claim connected with this site or our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the work in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of MI, and any dispute arising from them will be handled in the courts of that state.
